The team races in regattas are around the region, typically in Columbus, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Southern Ohio, or Southern Michigan, but we may venture further. Transportation is provided; we often leave SHHS the night before the race and return the evening of the race, but some regattas are day trips. Attendance at all regattas is mandatory for all rowers - plan on being available every weekend through April and May.

Summer
Summer is a great time to row! The Foundry, Shaker Heights’ boathouse, offers extensive summer programming each year which many Raider Rowing athletes choose to take advantage of. Spending at least a few weeks each summer rowing is highly encouraged.
