May 13, 2021 UPDATE: MSRAs and NATIONALS!

The Raider Rowers had a successful run at the MSRAs on May 8, and May 9, 2021.

Men’s Boats raced May 8. Shaker Men’s Junior Varisty 4+ and the Men’s Varsity 4+ each advanced to finals; Mens’ Varsity 4+ was the only Ohio Varsity 4+ boat team to do so. Mens V4+ aand JV4+ each finished 6th in highly competitive races. Well done, gentlemen!

Women’s Boats raced May 9. Shaker sent a Women’s Varsity 4+ & a Women’s Second Varsity 4+. The Women’s V4+ finished 3rd in the Time Trials, and before advancing to finals, the day’s races were suspended. The team was disappointed that the 2nd V4+ was not able to row, but their resilience and attitude was exemplary. With the suspension of the Finals, the Bronze in Time Trials qualified Women’s V4+ (Yingling) to Nationals in Philadelphia on May 28-29, 2021. Shaker is proud of all its Raider Rowers!
