District registration:

Registration is done through FinalForms:  https://shaker-oh.finalforms.com/. All forms (including the annual physical) must be completed in FinalForms before you will be allowed to practice. This must be done EVERY SEASON, including if you plan to join us for winter conditioning.
To register for Fall Rowing: register on FinalForms for Fall Coed Crew
To register for Spring Rowing: register on FinalForms for Girls Crew or Boys Crew

Only register for the season you are definitely planning to row.
PLEASE NOTE:
 while it is fine to row in the spring but not the fall, we do not encourage athletes to only row in the fall. We especially encourage freshmen who are considering rowing to try rowing in the fall, since the weather is much nicer and it's easier to learn!

Further registration:

Once you have registered for the season you’ll need to do the following:

  • Become a “Basic” USRowing member, which costs approximately $25. Our club code is GXHQ4. Please make sure the athlete (not the parent) is listed as a member, and that you use your formal name. This membership allows us to participate in regattas which use USRowing’s insurance coverage (which is most of them). This must be renewed every 12 months.

  • If you have not done a swim test for the Foundry, please download this form and have a lifeguard complete and sign it. Once signed by the lifeguard, please email it to crew@shaker.org (a scanned copy or readable, clear photo). Tests can usually be done at the SHMS pool, Thornton Park, or other swim clubs, but it helps to call ahead to schedule a time. A swim test is only done ONCE in your career but must be passed before starting practice.
